Located in front of Cap-Saint-Ignace, east of Quebec City (Canada), the Isle-aux-Grues holds many mysteries. One of the most exciting is that of a strange character who was insight into the year 1810 to year 1841. At this time, a dwarf with no head on the black frock coat and gray trousers, terrorized the habitatnts on the island believed to see the devil.

Almost all residents were witnesses to this strange presence. The first was a certain “Catin” Won and the last was Louis Lebel, who received injuries during this unusual event. Le Petit Bonhomme Head did not showed that night and in the same place on the island near the coast that leads to the upper town.

The witnesses have actually existed, their testimonies were consistent between them and the places described are still visible today. Who was this strange character? A ghost? Be a legend? Be a real living in seclusion? Was it a noble as his clothing suggests? Or a deformed child in any family of the island and kept secret? Nobody knows.
