Blob Invasion in Alaska?
What are blobs doing in Alaska?

Alaska is a place of ice, snow, and blobs? Hunters in Alaska discovered strange ‘Blobs’ in the waters and described it to be hairy and black.
The hunters went ahead and contacted the US Coast Guard, who sent people to observe the situation by flying over the Alaskan waters. Later, they used a boat to observe the blob. After long and uncertain observations, they took samples of the mysterious goo and sent it for examination.
The US Coast Guard treated the situation like an oil spill, as it was described as black, so they were very cautious. While the examination was going on, many people spread the word of the evil ‘Blob’. People became very disturbed and nervous.
When examinations were finally finished, the results showed that the goo wasn’t a spill of any sort. It was actually a plant called an Algal bloom. The Algal bloom is a combination of millions or even billions of microalgae. Although it is a plant, it doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous. Some of them are poisanous and can poisan many fish which people eat. In fact, many US coasts have them, especially in Maine. The coasts of Maine were basically all cut off because of these dangerous plants.

Some say it is a bit strange to have an Algal bloom in Alaska, but scientists say that they can form in different enviroments, as long as they have the right ingredients. The bloom found in Alaska doesn’t show any signs that it is deadly or toxic when tested for poisan. They left the blob in the Alaskan waters, drifting away.
