Capesthorne Hall Haunted Gateway

In 1980 a woman by the name of Kath Philips of Walker lane, Sutton near Macclesfield reported an unusual event which occurred outside the main gates of Capesthorne Hall, cheshire on the A34. She states that in 1980 her and her husband were travelling along the A34 on a sunny afternoon when upon approaching the main gates of Capesthorne Hall they both witnessed a man dressed in strange clothes cross the road without checking for traffic and then pass through a thick black thorn hedge and barb wire fence effortlessly.
Their car engine cut out for no apparent reason, as did a car approaching from the opposite direction. Both cars started again with no apparent faults after the strange event occurred!
