Digested 2012 Conspiracy #5: the Green Conspiracy
Digested facts on ecological and environmental predictions for 2012.
2012 marks the point when the environment will no longer be able to support the damage done by human pollution; if we have not ceased 99% of pollution, deforestation and manufacture, our planet is doomed.
The Gaia theory considers 2012 as the date when the planet itself will turn against us, the Earth being a mass organism akin to an insect hive comprising all animal and plant life. The human race will be attacked by the planet’s immune system; the weather will turn against us, animals will become hostile and new diseases will thrive while plants and other resources we depend on will whither away.
In 2012, the living will outnumber the dead; the world population will be too vast to feed and millions will die of starvation. Biofuels and the consumption of beef are only speeding this inevitable calamity.
No government on Earth is prepared to make the necessary changes to avert environmental collapse; their only answer is to cull the population before the planet does it for us. The cull will begin in 2012.
There are enough resources to support us all if we change our way of life from Capitalist manufacture and consumption to a sustainable Socialist model; unfortunately, the greedy rich resist this change and would rather see the poor die.

are you out of your Fing mind. I am by no means rich, I served in the military for 12 years of my life during the cold war in a covert manner. if you think socialism is so great you are well come to visit places in eastern europe and ask them how great socialism is.
There has always been have and have nots…in in socialism countries the have still out way the have nots, just the have nots have less.
or go to africa, the haves are brutal to the have nots and they have even less.
I would rather live free or die trying than to see my country turn socialist.

Nowhere in Africa has ever been socialist. Blaming socialism for poverty and oppression in Eastern Europe is just ignoring the wider context of history. If you look at former socialist states in isolation, then yes, socialism would appear to be the cause of their problems. But socialism, just like capitalism, cannot operate in isolation. You have to look at the interaction between socialist and capitalist states to see what really happened. In every case, every country to adopt a socialist system has been immediately attacked by capitalist nations, led principally by the USA. Blame for the failures of socialism lies with the nature of capitalism; socialism means sharing, capitalism means selfishness. It\’s that simple.

Also, I should add that this entire article was written with a satirical angle; some readers may have missed that.
