Evil Toy Clown Stalks Woman

A woman claims a toy clown came to life and terrorised her.

Jane Tregoning, aged 45 and living in a small town outside of Iowa, United States, says that a child’s toy clown stalked her in her home.

“It started a year ago”, said the widow to our reporter. “I bought the toy clown from a car boot sale. It looked very old.”

The woman states that she first stood the toy clown on her bedside cabinet. For a few weeks the clown did nothing.

However, events took a creepy turn for the worse when the woman woke in the middle of the night hearing a voice.

“I thought I heard someone whispering my name. Of course I assumed I was dreaming”, says Jane. “I opened my eyes and thought I saw the clown had moved position but put it down to a breeze blowing through my window.”

Jane continued to hear her name being whispered. Then one night she woke with a shock. “I saw the clown resting on the edge of my bed. Not lying on it as if it had fallen from any wind, but standing at the base of my bed, it’s eyes just staring at me and it’s big grin. I heard it whisper my voice again.”

The terrified woman promptly threw a pillow at it, knocking it over. “I was terrified”, she says.

The next morning the woman removed the toy and placed it in her basement. “I put this down to some freak of nature, such as me dreaming a whispering and the toy landing upright at the base of my bed. I told no one. Until a few weeks later.”

That is when the clown started acting up in the basement. “Again I heard my voice, but this time it was being called from somewhere downstairs. I heard knocking from the basement and what sounded like heavy breathing.”

Upon investigation, Jane – this time scared out of her wits – saw the toy clown at the top of the basement stairs and close to the door. “I put the clown in the far corner of the basement, tucked away behind some boxes. But this scared the hell out of me to find it where it stood.”

Jane called in a local psychic. Mildred Jenkins is a paranormal investigator and also a psychic. The 69 year old woman visited Jane’s home and quickly “sensed” an evil presence.
