I know, I know, haven’t we heard enough about “aliens among us”: X-Files style abductions and flaming anal probes (ala Cartman on Southpark). But I’m not talking fantasy tales here. I’m talking real world, Black Ops, spooky style, Shadow Government collusion. Or so they say. The motive? Same as it ever was: control.
I don’t blame you for rolling your eyes. I did the same thing – until. Until I started researching the matter and finding out that it’s not just a bunch of nut-jobs running around yelling, “The sky is falling”, but rather, a group of highly educated, well connected, nut jobs and the odd assortment of former high-level govt. types who had the kind of jobs where you’re sworn to secrecy, for life. But a secret’s a hard thing to keep, and the ego’s a hard thing to deny. So hold onto your pants boys and girls, ‘cause this rabbit hole called exopolotics is one wild ride.
What is exopolitics, you ask? Good question. Exopolitics, a relatively recent term, is the political study of the key actors, institutions and processes associated with extraterrestrial life, according to Dr. Micheal E. Salla, a pioneer in the development of the discipline. Salla is an internationally recognized scholar in international politics, conflict resolution and US foreign policy. He has held academic appointments at American University, Australian National University and GW. He has a Ph.D. in Government from the University of Queensland, Australia, and an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, Australia
A Little History
The modern fascination with aliens and their supposed contact with humans extends back to the 1947 incident at Roswell, NM, the site of possibly the most famous UFO case in history. Furthering the conspiracy crowd’s hysteria was the secretive research undertaken during Project Blue Book in the fifties, an Air Force investigation into the phenomena of UFOs, for the purpose of determining the validity of claims concerning such sightings and the possibility of imminent threat to the country if proven true. The Air Force claimed nothing of significance was discovered and the ‘believers’ have cried foul ever since.
