Finally Proof That Aliens and Ufo’s Exist, or Not?
One of the most longstanding questions is: Do aliens really exist? Ironic that we may finally have an answer from an astronaut of all people.
Edgar D. Mitchell, an Apollo 14 astronaut, who is renowned for making the longest moonwalk in history, attended a conference held by Paradigm Research Group for UFO researchers/enthusiasts . “It is now time to put away this embargo of truth about the alien presence,” Edgar declared to the crowd. He went on to call for the “government to open up” and “become part of the planetary community.” He even claims that we are being visited and that there is a secret, possibly military run, section of the government. When asked why we didn’t have proof of UFO’s , he replied: “We have that, it’s just that the government has covered it up and denied by the powers that be in our own government.”
This seems to have lit a fire under Paradigm Research Group founder, Stephen Bassett. Mr. Bassett is now virtually demanding that the Obama administration release any and all information that the government has on extraterrestrial beings by the end of May. Otherwise, the founder says that he will use all of his resources, networks, members, etc.. to make it -“as difficult on them as possible.” Mr. Bassett also appeals to President Obama that we (the United States of America) don’t want to have another space gap after picking up a newspaper with a headline that another country has confirmed extraterrestrial beings.
Just a few days earlier on April 8 th , two New Jersey men were sentenced and fined for creating a frenzy of 911 calls with their January- February UFO hoaxes. Chris Russo and Joe Rudy tied lit road flares to helium balloons, and then would let them float away. Onlookers flooded 911 with UFO sightings. The men claim on their personal web site that the UFO hoax was just an effort to disprove UFO sightings and experts.
So, what do you think? Do UFO’s and extraterrestrial beings exist? If you are a believer, do you think it is best to start poking around, studying, and pissing them off or let sleeping UFO’s float?

I live near the hoaxers and people are plenty mad at them. They caused a lot of trouble around here.

Nice provoking article Jo. I for one don’t believe in aliens or UFO’s. My personal opinion. Well done.

You have to wonder why a race of beings, presumably of advanced enough intelligence to conquer deep space travel, always seems to opt for visiting places like Podunk, Nebraska for the purposes of conducting anal probes on trailer park residents.
Seems like a long way to travel just to practice colonoscopies.

Actually, if you read a lot of the so-called ‘abductee’ accounts, there are a preponderance of abductions that allegedly take place in the city, from high-rise buildings and so forth! I was surprised to read this. The abducted persons claim to have been ‘floated out’ through windows, etc. I’m left wondering why is it that nobody seems to see the ‘craft’ that must be outside the window? That ‘tag & release’ mantra of the trailer park and the lone camper or overnight hiker doesn’t seem to hold exclusive anymore…
Myself, the whole ‘abduction’ and ‘physical exam’ thing still makes me smile. -Pretty sure that there’s nothin’ up my ass that is going to save E.T.’s dying planet!

I think probably there is, was, or will be life on other planets at some point – the universe is too big and too ever-changing for anything else – but I’m not sure it’s something we should be so intrigued with. We’d just start a war anyway. I’m not so sure they’d ‘visit us’ or ‘abduct us’ either…

Lol, Bullwinkle & Stickman.
I am very skeptical of anything that relies on a conspiracy theory.
However, I am sure there is life on other planets- and if we ever find it, we should nuke it to bits before it gets out of control!!!!

Its an interesting paradox Jo, is ther a cover up and what is being covered up?

Why do we always assume that life beyond our own is always so far advanced than ourselves? I believe that this universe to far too vast for us to be the only civilized planet. I don’t believe that any extraterrestrial civilizations have the advanced technology to visit Earth. If so, why would they travel such great distances and not make substantial contact?

I am undecided.I have seen some things that I could not explain. I will write about it one day and maybe one of you will have an explamation. Like most of you I think it’s almost impossible that we are the only planet with life. There is so much out there that I can’t grasp even the idea of it. It’s too big for my little mind to contain.

I haven’t been abducted or anything like that, but I have had an unusual occurrence in my life that made me think. It also made me look like an idiot to everyone around me. That is the problem. People think they know what’s real and what is not. They “think”…really that’s just an assumption. You know what assume spells…

I believe that aliens exist, but why we can’t see them? Because we’ve a different frequency to communicate with them.

On a clear night you can see a lot of the sky in my area, and I see a lot of planes. If a plane is coming straight at you the lights can seem to hang in the air for long periods. I think many UFO sightings are illusions like that. I also think the universe is too vast for aliens to visit us. However, I also think we don’t know everything about time and space, and an advanced civilization may be able to bend the laws of physics. But if they’re that advanced, why would they have to visit us in secret? It seems like they’d be able to crush us like ants, and take over the planet any time they wanted.

When I was young I was sure that UFOs were really extraterrestrial aliens. Now I am much more skeptical. Every time I looked into a UFO story, it would turn into a puff of smoke. There may be some interesting things that explain what people see, but as time goes by, it becomes harder to believe that UFOs represent alien spacecraft.

The article is left opened… Universe is too wide, it is never-ending, I believe. There were possibilities, aliens are just bit of it… It’s just that they are more advanced than human beings. They can go here and we can’t go there… hehehe…

I beleive in Aliens, Faries, Nature Spirits, Angels, and anything else you can think of.
Yes, there are more things out there than we consider. We are ignorant to think we are alone.

Sorry not to respond sooner, had internet issues.
Anyhow both my husband and I have seen an alien, it was dead at the time, and is a story unto itself, its on here somewhere, so yes they are real.
Maybe they have a prime directive like on Star Trek – not to interfeer with us.

I’m of the opinion that there is no possible way that we are the only form of intelligent life, and I use the term “intelligent” loosely.

Seeing is believing for me and I have to admit..unless I meet an extra-terrestial..I will always be a sceptic. I must admit, the ‘Roswell Incident’ had me wondering but unless I see a living, breathing, out-of-this world being with my own eyes, I remain a non-believer.

An alien race would have to have discovered all the laws of physics and how to manipulate them to do space travel that efficiently, and they would have to overcome cultural barriers (such as believing they should just sit and wait for a god to come to their aid somewhere in the future). Two things extremely difficult to attain. Not ever the human race has attained them.
