Ghost Hunting
Basic info, tips, and tools for ghost hunting.
When I was 18 years old, a couple of friends and I drove out to an old abandoned house in the woods, hoping to find a ghost. Armed with nothing but flashlights and imaginations, we sneaked in and spent the night in the house. It was an amazing experience, even though we technically didn’t find anything paranormal.
To find out later, that there are actually people who hunt ghosts on a regular basis, and even for a living, was surprising.
According to Wikipedia, the actual first report of a ghost hunt was by Pliny the Younger in 100 AD, concerning a man named Athenodoras Cananites who investigated a haunted house in Athens. Since then, ghost hunting has grown in popularity. There are even television shows documenting the findings of people who hunt ghosts. A very popular show right now, Ghost Hunters, follows a group of men and women as they investigate different places that are supposed to be haunted.

3. Check it out in the daylight. Make sure you are not going to fall into a hole or get hurt by something you won’t see well in the dark.
4. Bring ID. If the police show up to see what you are doing on that property, be able to prove who you are.
