Ghost in a Burning Building
Ghost in burning building?
In Shropshire, many years ago, Wem Town Hall was engulfed by flames. The towns people came to watch the drama unfold as the old building perished to the ground. Tony O’Rahilly who resides not far from the tragedy took some photographs of the incident. In one of the photos there seems to be a little ghost like figure of a girl.
Mr. O’Rahilly, the other residents and the fire fighters do not remember the little girl being present at the scene.
Yet another picture to add to the, “real or fake” series.
Another mystery never to be solved? Or something easily explainable? I Look forward to hearing your views on this one.

Never heard about this incident…..photo is nice and when seen in the context of your headline, really looks like a ghost…

I was looking at the left portion of the photo, looking for something hazy, or thta could be the shadow of a man or something. When I saw the little girl I literaly was shocked. I did not see her until my third scan of the picture, somehow I was so intent on looking for something that could be a person I missed the one staring right at me.

What a strange shot. The young girl seems not to see the fire. It seems to be a paranormal event.

It really does look like a ghost, and she doesn’t seem to notice what’s going on. It’s as if she’s been there for years, and when the building is at it’s end, she steps out to take a last look, because she’s at her end too.
Ghosts have always amazed me – especially those that seem to be protecting buildings, maybe that’s her purpose.
Then again, maybe it is just a camera trick, who knows. How many years ago was this taken? Was it that long ago that colour photographs were non-existant?

erm I found a few dates but they where all different. All I gathered was it was some time before colour cameras. This picture is also believed not to be edited/faked in anyway.

well the only explaination I’ve considered as “Plausible” beyond the relm of faking the photograph on purpose was.. Human minds are ‘programmed’ to reconise faces in the strangest of places so maybe this is just a product of human perception. An example of this is when you look up to the clouds and see a clown face. This explaination suits my other post better than this.. you should all check it out its about faces appearing in the sea after two people died aboard a cargo ship:
