Ghosts. There are so many movies and stories about them, such as the movie ‘A Haunting In Connecticut’ or ‘An American Haunting’, or even the book ‘Crossroads’. How many of YOU have had paranormal experiences?

In actuality, not all ghosts are evil. Ghosts are often depicted as demons and people do not tend to take kindly to ghosts living in their house. This is understandable, because many people are afraid of ghosts. The only ones to be afraid of are demons. I myself am quite afraid of ghosts. You can’t exactly help it, can you?

Once, when I was about eight or nine, I was lying in bed with my mother showing her something in one of my book. She and I both saw, for a split second, a pitch black figure run into the hall. I was paralyzed with shock for about ten seconds. That was the first time I ever saw a ghost.

My grandmother was coming upstairs from her bedroom and she saw a woman sitting on the couch, just relaxing. She said that the ghost-woman was there for a split second, then disappeared. Also, the woman apparently looked a lot like my own mother. It is unknown who this woman is.

When my aunt was a young teenager, my mother and grandmother had gone out (I can’t seem to remember where…) and she was sweeping the floor. When she got to the living room, she saw who we think was the same woman sitting in one of the old rocking chairs! She told my mother and grandma about it later when they got back.

Ghosts are indeed very real and often very happy living with you. Don’t try to banish a good spirit. It just might save your life once or twice.
