Ghosts a Hoax?
An article.
When this reporter asked exactly what he meant Chief Moral gave this statement: “It means just what it says. The killer, she or it, is not natural, and that we cannot explain, stop, or capture her or it. Case Closed.”
The details of the investigator’s inquiries were classified, and are not available to the press. Chief Rodger Morall resigned his post, and left town less than an hour after the close of the conference. He could not be reached for a comment.
“Case Closed.” He had said. Case Closed?
How can the people of this town be at peace knowing the police and do nothing to stop a viscous killer on a rampage, whether she be human or ghost? I, for one, have not slept soundly in over a month, and am sorry to say this will be my last article for the Post. I have put in my letter of resignation and am moving across country. I advise my readers to do the same.
As for those who decide to stay, I only have this advice: Pray. Pray.
May God help us to see the light.

I picked up the newspaper during a recent trip to Greenville, and could not believe the article. I checked on the murders, the chief’s press conference and resignation, and the reporter, Mr. Astashim. Everything, even the most ludicrous parts of the story are true! I did not sleep a wink the entire week I spent in the town.
It appears that proof has been found affirming the existence of ghosts, in South Carolina at least.
The world seems trapped in an episode of ‘The Twilight Zone’ after reading the preceding article. Thank God the article was written by a fictional reporter and
published in a fictional newspaper.
