Google UFOo Doodle Finally Explained

The past week, people have been puzzling over the doodle depicted on the search engine, Google which displayed a UFO saucer flying off with the second O in Google. Well, recently, the matter was resolved on Google’s twitter page: http://twitter.com/google, when the numbers 1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19 was featured prominently. The numbers are in reference to the game, Zero Wing, famous for the Internet meme, All Your base are belong to us, spoken by the game’s villain, Cats. It just so happened that the particular day that it was posted happened to be Zero Wing’s 20Th anniversary. With that matter resolved, there is only one question that remains: Is the anniversary event popular enough to be referenced?
