Haunting Number Six
An early 1800’s haunted hotel.
When I was invited in to look into the energies of this particular hotel I had no idea what I was taking on.
I was bought in by an Interior Design Company who had been given the contract for reburbishment of this Grade II Listed building, the problem the team had was the “feeling” of the hotel.
It was built in the early 1800’s so a lot of people had lived and died there and it has a fantastic history, only in recent years was it sold from being a historic family run home to becoming a busy exclusive hotel.
Many of the paintings were grim to say the least, and there were huge tapestries hanging on the wall with dim orange lighting, perfect setting for ghosts.
There were many stories from the staff about sightings and especially in the Old Coach House, it was in here that the energy was the worst.
Over a period of two visits, and quiet a few walks into the fresh air, I finally completed my mission. It was extremely hard work, in terms of the amount of energy I was dealing with. Most of the corridors looked very hazy almost like a light fog or mist and the musty smell which accompanied this was not pleasant.
The outcome for both myself and the interior design company were the same to get not only a visual difference but also a better overall feeling within the hotel.
There were approx 30+ rooms, with attics and cellars to contend with, every corner and cubby area was clogged with stagnating energy, I was so surprised that they were able to run a highly successful business with all this stuck energy in there.
As each area was cleansed and the spirits released everyone began commenting on how much brighter the rooms were, and the landings seemed lighter somehow.
When you hear comments like this from people who work there but do not have any understanding of energy or the spirit world, you know that what you are doing is being accomplished. It is excellent to get this sort of feedback.
Then to the final area, which was the Old Coach House, and even the General Manager commented that it felt like someone had died in there. If only he knew that what he was saying was true. The information which I gave to the interior design team matched the information which they had sourced for themselves.
