Old traditional witchcraft is still the same, but not talked about much for obvious reasons. Wicca is the most popular form and the one most people know about. Even most Wiccans seem to be unaware that there is any other kind and will be quick to deny the relationship between witchcraft and demonology.

But, in real witchcraft these things are inseparable. Traditional witches do communicate with spirits of all kinds and they do practice a kind of fascination on themselves and others. Real witchcraft has a lot in common with some martial arts practices and some lesser known Yogic practices. It includes other practices, as well, which are really controversial even now. This is why most real witches remain in the shadows, mostly hiding behind the skirts of the Wiccans! We owe them, a lot, after all.
