Whilst out walking on Wimbledon common on the evening of 5 January 2009 I saw a strange light above me. It was dark and moonless with a clear sky around about half past ten. Fortunately I had my phone with me and I manged to capture the events on video. The craft was making a very strange noise, the sound here really doesn’t do it justice.

The UFO was just flying slowly around, almost as if it was scanning the ground below. I watched it for a few minutes and then, as you see on the film, a bright sort of laser beam came from it and the phone was torn from my hand. When I recovered from the surprise, this is what I found. The photon beam had done this to my Motorola L6…

The handset had been cleaved neatly into two pieces. I guess whatever or whoever it was didn’t want this video ending up on youtube.

But I had a very clever ally. The guy in the phone shop on Wimbledon Broadway believed my tale and very cleverly, with some very fine soldering, did a transplant of my phone’s memory chip into another L6 handset. Hey presto I had a working handset from which I could recover this video and even all my contact numbers and txt messages.

So the question that remains is, did anyone else see this thing? If so let me know beacuse it would be great to really authenticate the sighting.

My final thoughts. Since we nearly all carry mobile phones with video capability, these days, it seems that UFOs are going to have to resort to this kind of technique more and more often if their identities are to be protected. Plus if you find yourself repairing a mobile phone that has suffered a similar fate, perhaps you too are making yourself a target for deletion….
