Mere Coincidence or Act of God?

This Very interesting picture was taken when the Nebula near PSR B1509-58 was spewing out radiation (The Radiation was Colored blue so we could see it). The thing that makes this extraordinary was the fact that this particular event occured over 17,000 years ago because this nebula is around 17,000 light years away. The red cloud the hand is “Reaching” to is the neighboring gas cloud RCW 89. So, is this a random coincindence or an act of God? I will leave the decision for you to make
