Mind Over Matter: Can You Mentally Control Your Fertility?

The idea of “Mind Over Matter” is still a relatively new concept, and is usually only embraced by a small portion of our culture. That doesn’t mean it isn’t real or doesn’t work. Yet, does that mean you might be able to control your own fertility?

Have you ever heard of mental programming?

It is the practice and skill of training your brain. It is most practiced in circles that seek to heighten their efficiency through positive thinking. It’s thought that the brain is just like a big computer. It has files (memories), RAM (neurons), and it even crashes at times of overload or viruses. The thought is that if your brain is just like a big computer, than you should be able to program it just as you would a computer.

The difference is that you obvious can’t take out your mother board and have it converted to a more powerful one that does what you want. No, you have to manually control your brain, and on a regular basis.

There are many thoughts that provoke people into action over controlling their own body and mind. It is amazing that the vehicle that houses our souls is still so unexplored. We have many tools to find diseases and viruses, and many medicines to fight of infection and disorders. Yet, no doctor or scientist can explain the strange manifestations that occur when a person use personal mind control. Or to use a more common phrase, “Mind Over Matter”.

Many ill patients, who refuse to agree with their diagnoses, have mysteriously gotten better. Some who were told they would never be able to walk again, have persisted and disagreed with that diagnosis, and are now fully fledged bipeds again. There are even those who have made the conscious decision to become rich, and now they are.

With all that in mind, is there a possibility that a woman might be able to control her own fertility through simple brain programming?

If the power of the mind is real, then there should be no reason this can’t happen. It is the power of belief that makes it happen, and doubt is the only thing that stops it.

It is thought that a woman who wants to get pregnant will, and woman who does not want to get pregnant won’t. There are some obvious factors that can make those statements obvious. A woman who wants to be pregnant usually will not use birth control or anything else that would stop conception, and a woman who wants to be mommy free will most likely use birth control and other methods to abstain from conception. But is it possible that birth control doesn’t really play as important a part as the brain does?
