  • White Lady

White Lady is a female ghost who has died or suffered trauma in life. She is tormented soul. A white lady has white eyes and her skin is pale white like milk. The most famous Onryo character in movie is Sadako Yamamura in The Ring.

  • Ba Jiao Gui

Ba Jiao Gui is Chinese female ghost, which resides in a banana tree. She sometimes carries a baby. In South East Asia, some greedy people ask her to give lottery numbers in order to win lottery.

  • Nu Gui

Nu Gui is angry female ghost with long hair in a white dress. According to the myth, Nu Gui is ghost of woman who commits suicide while wearing a red dress.

Some people believe that they can tame Pontianak or Kuntilanak by plunging a nail down the back of her neck or her crown of head and she will become a beautiful normal girl.

  • Sundel Bolong

Sundel Bolong is Indonesian female beautiful ghost with white dress who has long hair and hole on her back. Sundel means bitch. Bolong refers to hole at her back.

According to the myth, Sundel Bolong is the angry spirit of woman who became victim of rape and murder and she gave birth in the grave.
