Nostradamus: Gone But Not Forgotten

The quatrains in his books were written before some places were discovered or named. For instance, one quatrain translated something like this:   “…and the new city will have a great explosion, as giant birds drop from the sky. Many people will perish and buildings will fall.” This particular was in the second century section, which represents the new millennium, present day. On September 11, 2001 (new millennium), the Twin Towers (buildings will fall) in New York City (the new city) were attacked by two airplanes (giant birds, remember there were no planes in the 1500’s). Many people did perish and die.

He also speaks of global warming and water shortages. He says there will be famine and crops will be unable to grow. People will become cannibals for lack of food. He predicted that banks would close and money would be inaccessible. The hopes that these dire predictions will not come to pass are in everyone’s hearts. But the facts are obvious. The world has become, this far, just as Nostradamus saw it almost 500 years ago. The oracles of Nostradamus is a must read. There are many books to choose from and you won’t be disappointed.

Quatrain 74 (CV1) speaks of possibly a woman president. It states that she is dethroned but will return to her place. This could mean the Queen of England, but the translator leans more toward the United States. Recently, in 2008, a woman ran for the presidential seat, which was a first for the U.S.A. Maybe she’ll run again?

Quatrain 74 (C1X) translates into the rebirth of paganism. Ceremonial rituals that were practiced during pre-Christian times again take place around the world.

 Quatrain 75 (C11) speaks of a bird, the vulture of death, and the wheat will grow so high, (the cost), there will be a shortage of water and the crops will suffer. People will resort to cannibalism for lack of food and money.
