Orbs?
by What do you think orbs are? are they just a trick of the light, or something else?
What does the word orb mean? An orb is any thing round, a ball, the earth.
The orb that is associated with light anomalies is what I am talking about, an orb is said to be a manifestation of a spirit, and will often be found to appear on photographs, and have been cough on film.
Many people have tried to come up with a logical explanation, for these orbs. These are decried as natural orbs, because they are a natural occurrence.
The natural occurrence is said, to occur when people disturb their surrounding area, creating minuter airborne particles, making common house hold dust to float around. The same is created with a photograph, when using a flash the light bounces back of the dust particles at an angle. Small particles of moisture can give this effect to, reflecting of clothing, giving it the apprentice of a coloured orbs. This may seem like a logical explanation, but how do we explain the ones that don’t hold up to a natural occurrence phenomena.
Most haunted locations have an abundance of orbs caught on film and appear on photographs, that people have taken sometimes these are very hard to explain. With the ones cough on film, they appear to move freely and flicker some with great speed and then can change to hardly moving at all, like they are floating in a deliberate direction. The orbs that appear in photos, can often show white balls of light, with many colours in side them, what ever they are many people believe they are spirits floating around freely come to visit us as they are bound to earth trapped in some way from moving on. Interesting article. I actually saw the Brown Mountain Lights one time, which are colorful orbs that float around but will stay right out of your reach. They are supposedly spirits.

I honestly have no idea what these orbs actually are. Sometimes they’re fake, but there certainly have been occasions when these orbs were not just put in with photoshop. They could be ghosts, spirits, just strange light tricks, or it maybe even be our eyes tricking us.

I’m sorry but unfortunatly I’m a complete skeptic of paranormal activity, and I dont even wanna start on aliens. It’s not that I think you crazy or stuff, but the fact that no “para” normal thing has ever be documented in full view. It’s just the amasing things we can do with video today. Just look at all the movies and wat they can do. I believe in star wars mor than ghosts. In this video the guy dosn’t make any mistakes until he lets his hand in withone of the “orbs”. You can see the distortion. This is obviously pictures of a guy and fireflys, with a little distorion. But an even better explaination is is a thing called “photoshop”. You cant do these thinks with video, but its unbelivably easy with photoshop.

O.K. I looked at it again to see if I missed anything, and I found something that I can’t belive no one has saw. On some of the slides there are two basketballs. This happens when you photoshop one print over an other, which means there werent even any lights. Its sad to see a person that really belives, gets tricked by people that real don’t care. Heres another explination. There was small drops of water on the lens. This is accually a really sad atempt by who ever created this.

Never trust pictures, the only reason I even watched this is because I wanted so me concrete evidence. Besides this isn’t even cited.

Awesome informative piece. Orbs are for sure very controversial in the paranormal field. Could they be spirits? Maybe? I think if you have some kind of other evidence at the same time, like someone being touch, or a noise or an EVP, then it is more likely it is a spirit. By itself, it is a very hard sell because there are so many other sources that can cause them. Well done! I really enjoyed this.

Up in Micigan, on a college campus that I stayed at for a week in July about 20 years ago, I decided to stay up all night and sit under a huge oak tree in the “commons area” of the campus. Another person stayed up with me and we both saw a light show I have yet to be able to explain. The commons had a good 2 dozen extremely large (very old) oaks on it. While I and my friend sat against one oak there appeared a light show of orbs from 4 inches to 4 feet wide in various colors. Blues, reds, oranges and greens were the predominant colors. There was no sound when they appeared but, this is the weird part, when they disappeared it looked like they were being drawn into themselves (imploding) and each orb would make a small popping noise when they winked out of site. Note: Neither one of us was on drugs or had been drinking. I have never seen this again but a man, five years ago, caught some orbs on film at the same campus on the same commons. They were smaller than some of the ones I had seen but still lovely. I understand people’s skepticism. I was one, too, until I saw them with my own eyes.
