Poltergeist

The word Poltergeist stems from the German meaning “noisy spirits or noisy ghosts”. Reports date back to the first century, but there is evidence that one of the first reporting was the Bell witch story. This story was reported in 1897, in a corn field near Adams, Tennessee.

It was said that John William Bell, Sr. sited an animal that had the body of a dog and the head of a rabbit. (a phenomenon or mutation of animals breeding with other animals? Hey it isn’t unheard of. If you are reading this you already believe stranger things.) The animal disappeared as John shot at it.

After the siting his daughter was said to be attacked by a force that no one could see. John was found dead on Dec. 20th, 1820 next to a vial with liquid that could not be recognized, but when feeding the remains to the family cat the cat died. They disposed of the container by means of the fire place. People say that in 1935 the spirit came back and intruded in to one of the Bell’s residence and was said to have been witnessed by president Andrew Jackson. Many say that these are just rumors.

If you do happen to encounter a phenomenon and you suspect it is a poltergeist such as any of the listed “warning signs” such as the most common as opening and shutting of doors, to the physical movement of furniture, to the capture of images on camera or video, and let’s not forget the classic, moaning or crying of a voice when no one is around, my suggestion would be to contact someone trained to investigate these such occurrences. My thought on the issue is this: I’d much rather be safe than sorry. At least by having someone investigate the results will either put your mind at ease, or confirm you have a poltergeist and I urge you to move.

To all of the brave souls that insist on proving the existence of ghosts, demons, and all other unexplained events, if these such occurrences do exist you are putting yourself in a frightening or potentially life threatening situation, so I say to you Godspeed and good luck.

A note to close on, It has also been said that these occurrences happen through a human port, usually a teenage girl that is troubled, they claim that it opens a door to her mind allowing what is called psychokinesis, possible explanation would be some sort of psychological trauma. So if you notice any thing strange look to your teens.
