Reports of Haunted Locations in The US
Here is a list of possible haunted buildings. When visiting any haunted building, you need to prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for the unknown. Don’t joke about spirits.
Winchester Mystery House
California, San Jose
During the 1800s, the Winchester family was famous for making rifles. When Sarah’s husband died she became concerned about evil spirits. Her daughter Annie died first in 1866 and her husband died 15 years later. Saddened by the two deaths, Sarah consulted a medium. The medium told Sarah that she believed that there was a curse upon the Winchester family because the guns the family made had taken so many lives and the spirits wanted to come after her. The medium told her that she must build a house and never stop building it, if she did the spirits would come after her.
The house is full of twists, turns and dead ends. Many people believed at that time that the spirits were confused by the end ends and walls, they would get lost and never be able to find her. The house has over 100 rooms and is reported to be haunted.
Holiday Inn- New York, Buffalo
After driving for many hours, you are sweaty and sticky. You want a warm bed and bath, but the last thing you want to see is the ghost of a small girl named Tanya. Many of the housekeepers claimed to hear jumping on the bed, running, playing and laughing.
Tanya died in a house fire. The hotel was built over her home.
Alcatraz, San Francisco
Many visitors of the island claim that they can hear men screaming, talking, and cell doors opening and closing. Many deaths have occurred in prison. Many guards and police officers have heard and seen ghostly apparitions while guarding the building. The prison is ranked as one of the most haunted buildings in California. The strange screams and events can be heard from cells 11, 12, and 13. Looks like spirits cannot escape Alcatraz and be free again.
Things to know:
(A house is a building that has the ability to be occupied by ghosts and human beings.)
There are many recordings of demons, spirits and unknown shadows, and many people believe that they are real. You know, just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean is not there. When visiting any haunted buildings, be open-minded. Don’t need to bring a camera. If you want to get as much as proof as possible, you need to have a witness. Taking pictures of ghosts is not easy. If you don’t avoid shinning surfaces, the shine can cause your pictures to show things that look like fog, mist or orb shapes. It’s too easy to create shapes that aren’t really there. So, save the pictures for your especial events and not for your ghost hunting adventures.

i love to hear about haunted houses, i have never been lucky or unlucky to have lived in one but my aunt did years ago and i will never forget her story. after my son died i thought i had felt him at times and even heard him come down my hallway… but nothing in a long time. i want him at peace and would not want him to visit me in a bad way, but even to see his face and hear him speak i would let him haunt me forever….
