Secretive Skunk Works
There have been, over decades, many thousands of supposed sightings of unidentified flying objects, but it seems certain that these are mostly not alien spacecraft at all, but more likely top-secret projects in transport research.

In 1988 the US government spent thirty billion dollars on secret weapons research, even today attempting to refine research by Austrian inventor, Viktor Schauberger, who had, while working for Nazi Germany in WWII, developed an anti gravity machine that worked.,

The holy grail of aviation science, anti-gravity could be a propulsion system allowing aircraft to fly at huge speeds without fuel as we know it, and Startrek could come an awful lot closer. Schauberger had really built a device, 5ft in width, saucer shaped, that, when activated, rose upwards, trailing a blue-green, then silver glow, so his report claimed. Flying Saucer as a term had its origins in this device.

Employing a process called implosion by the inventor, a 3D energy pattern, channeled in, rather than out, generating huge levels of force, the device exploding within seconds, but still capturing American attention, as a radical new engine, sucking through the air instead of pushing, needing almost no fuel to operate it. Work began on this at Palmdale in 1946, but never achieved the desired propulsion system.

A 1956 article, in an old science magazine, showed a drawing of a pilot, stepping from an aircraft that had neither wings nor visible means of propulsion. Cited as the most potent source of energy, gravity would, the text maintained, allow future aircraft to move at light-speed, researchers perfecting gravity control at that time, leading to weightless airliners and space ships capable of 176,000 miles per second, but of course this never happened’.

In this modern age, when science has advanced so much, the Pentagon still operates so-called black budgets, a lot of money is channeled into the Skunk works and their mysterious research, every bit as secretive as Area 51. The public get fed good news in small doses, keeping us all guessing, but however much the chemical stench has diminished, in the modern day at the Skunk works, something still smells about what really goes on there.

Fossil fuels really are finite, despite oil companies finding more all the time, so you would think that suppression of knowledge about revolutionary new forms of transportation would be wrong, but governments obviously disagree. Those who spot strange object in the sky cannot all be seeing things, as authorities want us to believe, but it seems the truth is simply not an option. Perhaps we are all aliens, after all.

I think aliens have visited us but we are not ready for first contact.
