Supernatural Experience
Have you ever wondered what it will be like after we die? Mom had an unusual experience. Maybe it was a dream; perhaps it was some sort of vision. Whatever it was, it definitely grabbed our attention.
Excuse the morbid question, but have you ever wondered what it will be like after we die? When my grandma passed away back in the mid 70s, my mom had an unusual experience. She kept wondering and asking herself what it was like to die. I don’t think she was suicidal or obsessed with death or anything unhealthy like that. I think it’s just something we all think about occasionally deep within our own minds.
It was only a few days after Grandma had passed when Mom laid down on my sister, Naomi’s bed. She was emotionally and physically exhausted. All that day, she kept pondering the question, wondering what her own mom had experienced in her final moments. She drifted off to sleep. Later, she described to us what had happened.
Maybe it was a dream; perhaps it was some sort of vision. Whatever it was, it definitely grabbed our attention. Here’s how Mom describes her experience…
“I was in Naomi’s bedroom and I was so tired I laid on the bed for a minute. While I was lying there, I kept thinking about Mumma and how it feels to die. After a while, I fell asleep. I don’t know if I was still sleeping or not, but after a few minutes, I felt a peculiar sensation. I felt like I was floating in the air. I opened my eyes to see what was going on and I could see the ceiling above me. Seeing the ceiling did not seem unusual, but it seemed to be getting closer. I turned to look at the bed and I could see myself lying there on the bed. I thought to myself, “This must be what it feels like when you die”. It was the strangest sensation to see my body lying on the bed while I was floating above. Somehow, I realized that I could not move my body. The thought occurred to me that I would have to make some kind of movement with my body, or my spirit may not return to it. It felt almost like my body was paralyzed; I couldn’t seem to move at all. Finally, after struggling for a little while, I was able to wiggle my toes. As soon as I wiggled my toes, I was back in my body again and I woke up.”

I believe in this sort of thing. In fact, I’ve had my own experience.
