Taking the Enchanted Object, the Devil’s Dictionary, and Making It Work for You

The power of prayer really does work, and the power of prayer must work for everyone in a different way. Most people will tell you that “The Devil’s Dictionary” is just a book by Ambrose Bierce, that is officially out of copyright. Unfortunately, the book is a dissertation about human society, I gave mine up to Jesus, back to the Rosary, back to the mythical perfection that God hoped for us to have.

I did this and it worked, it placed a reflective mirror into my aura, this reflective mirror is a necessary thing.

I was not really intending to have this “magic mirror” as a part of my intangible presence, and, to tell you the truth, I find it to be a little bit annoying at times.

Alcoholics now confess to me their alcoholism, theives, drug addicts, prostitutes – and those who don’t, label me with their disorder. It’s more than almost disheartening, this “magic mirror” effect.

While working as a merchandiser, a computer gaming specialist told me that I should study more about magic, that I knew enough about computers.

I suppose that I deserve this, as an empath. Maybe what God is trying to tell me is that I’m already a “magic mirror” to other people, and that this is how people feel when they are around me. Thus, I deserve to feel the same effect while being around other people.

This is what I did to this 50 cent book called “The Devil’s Dictionary”, I cut it up into tiny squares, spray painted it different colors, folded it up into tiny objects and rolled it up into rosary beads, blessed it with holy water, and said the rosary way too many times in a few languages while doing this.

Then, I gave these little objects a new life as attractive mobiles, or ceiling decorations. Maybe a few are still hanging from the ceiling of a tiny room here and there, or sitting in a plastic case.

Most of the rest of the book has gone back to the dust from which it sprang, I imagine, or has gone elsewhere.

Give the macabre nature of a lot of what I am reading in the Bible, I guess that this is the truth about life. Sure, the Bible says a few really wonderful things about life here on this Earth, however, most of what the Bible says about life here on this earth is not nearly so nice. Most of us merely parody the truly wise and the truly nice. Read a chapter of the New Testament such as “Galatians” for a treatise by Paul about us wonderful people, in this, our wonderful society.
