The Alien of Ilkley Moor

Ilkley Moor, in Yorkshire, England, is a strange and mysterious place.  People have been seeing ghosts and UFOs there for years.  In 1987, a retired policeman named Philip Seymour had such an encounter.

One December morning, Seymour was taking a walk across the morning.  He was on his way to his father-in-law’s house.  He brought his camera in hopes of taking pictures of some mysterious lights that had been seen over the moor.

Suddenly, Seymour saw a strange creature on the slopes of the moor.  He grabbed his camera and snapped a picture of the being.  Seymour ran toward the creature and was shocked to see an unknown craft with a dome top.

The photo was very blurry but it was evident that there was some kind of creature present. Photograph experts examined the picture and concluded that the being was part of the original photo and not added later. 

Seymour accepted no money for the photo and gave up all rights to it to UFO researchers.  It was also found that he lost about an hour in the moor.  Was he abducted?

One problem with the Ilkley Moor sighting was the lack of supportive witnesses.  However, there is the history of the place and the photo of the strange creature.  So, I believe there is a 50% that the incident occurred.
