The Hills: A Real Story of Alien Abduction

“They’re going to capture us!” Barney yelled as he grabbed his wife Betty and raced back to his car. Moments earlier Barney had stopped his car after noticing a strange light illuminating directly behind him. The couple was driving on a deserted highway in the lonely, dark night. Barney got out of his car to observe the flying object. He was frightened out of his mind when he realized that there were six to eleven menacing beings glaring directly down on him through the windows of the craft

It was September 19, 1961 and the Hills swore until the day they died that they were victims of a “space napping” by extraterrestrials.

As Barney dashed terrifyingly back into the car, he told Betty what he had witnessed and hit the gas pedal and sped away as fast as he could.

The next thing that both Hills remembered was that the route back home seemed to take two hours longer and yet according to their car’s odometer, it was 35 miles shorter.

Upon inspection of their car, the Hills found many obvious dark marks that were not present before.

The Hills immediately began having nightmares and under hypnosis they both recounted being abducted by small, grayish beings with huge heads and big beady eyes. They both told the same story under separate hypnosis sessions.

Betty revealed that the aliens took pieces of her skin and hair to sample. Then the aliens inserted a needle into her mid-section and performed intimate examinations of her female anatomy.

When Betty asked the beings where they were from they pointed to a map that showed their home planet. Later, Betty drew the map for researchers and they identified it as the group of stars called Zeta Reticuli, which is 30 light-years away from our sun.

Barney and Betty Hill were mocked by some observers for their supposed alien encounter. Yet they became instant heroes to believers in extraterrestrials and they became quite famous in U.F.O. support groups.

Still whether the couple was mocked or worshipped, they never recanted their story of being “spacenapped” by aliens from another galaxy.
