The Light at The End of The Tunnel

The mind-blowing world of the Near Death Experience.

They say they move there inexplicably; magnetically, mysteriously. Some after a dark tunnel, some after warm blackness and peace and a few in the intantaneous flash of a wayward second. They say there is amazing brightness; both soft and brilliant at once.  The say the light is breathtaking, awe-inspiring, incredible, that the light is perfect love itself. They say they are the light.

A Near Death Experience or NDE doesn’t start with the light though, Nope, something comes before that tunnel. Your death. It sounds almost funny to hear someone begin a sentance with Hi my Name is, and then tell you about the day they died. Some say they were in a car accident and remember driving along with family and friends beforehand. before a loud crash and a quick sense of fear. Some say they were swimming or diving; and then drowning; struggling and hoping hard for air. One lady even tells about being in the dentist’s chair one morning, where she suddenly died and thought to herself, wasn’t I just at the Dentist? Usually before it occurs to them, they are suddenly away, often looking down on the form of a body they soon identify as theirs. Many experiencers say that the fact that they seem to be looking down on themselves doesn’t really matter when considering the scope of what they will experience after.

People say they saw shapes materialize, shapes of buildings, shapes of meadows; shapes of loved ones looking happy and holy. Some even say it was a loved one who showed them around the spiritual world, experiencing with them feelings and colours of an indescribable nature. Others insist they met God or held the hand of Jesus, all felt love, and knew love.  They grew to know a lot in that realm of no time. Several people talk about going somewhere akin to a 3-D movie theatre where they watch the scenes of their life; watch and feel. They feel the emotions of their lifelong loved ones, happiness, joy, gratitude. They also experience the hopelessness, the heartbreak, the hatred; all the feelings they had ever placed on another soul. There is no blame however, they say, everything seen in life’s theatre is for the learning, and only for the learning.

Then they are told to go back; some by choice for the sake of the living, and some by God’s will. many people remember being reluctant to return to a life on earth that seems so dim and numb in comparison to the afterlife.  Often a soul comes back changed from the experience, some with a mission; all with a desire to do good by a reality and truth more real than a human being could ever even think to know.
