The Mystery of Aguinaldo’s Shrine
Mysteries and paranormal beings are proven to have existed in this world. The proofs are shown and stories were told. Aguinaldo’s Shrine can be considered one of the world’s scariest places.
House Rules
During day time every one is allowed to come into the house and explore in the garden and the museum then it will be closed in the afternoon. There were stories that nobody dared to sleep in the house at night because there are hearsays that there are creatures and spirits guarding the house and that they do not allow someone to stay overnight. One Japanese soldier heard the stories and took it as a challenge to stay there overnight. He talked to the mayor who happens to be General Aguinaldo’s grand son and he has allowed him to. During the scheduled night of his overnight stay, before sleeping he opened the huge Spanish typed window to throw his cigar’s ashes outside but as he looked outside the window his eyes opened wide as ran as fast as he could to the house’s exit. He saw a huge hand which caught the ashes he had thrown. He left the house with just his brief on.
The House Pet
Filipinos has this myth of a giant man covered with hair and always smokes tobacco. They call it “Kapre”. Old surviving men who have lived sometimes with Gen. Aguinaldo claim that he has a kapre as pet. They have seen it lots of times in the house’s garden and that it lived in the big tamarind tree planted in the garden. After the death of the general, they cut off the tamarind tree and that the kapre just disappeared.
One stormy day (the storm is in the 4th signal) as the storm was about to blow the shrine’s roof of, there appeared a huge pair of hands on the roof and there was no harm done in the shrine during that entire stormy day.
General Aguinaldo’s driver lived a long life and has died in the year 1998. I and my whole family were in the burial night when a big (very big) man appeared from no where, and because he does not fit in the house he just signed up the visitor’s signature book and leave. He is wearing an over all but it is very obvious that his body and his whole face is covered with hair. After he has left we looked at the signature book to see what he had written. The penmanship is unclear and about the size of 10 spaces in an intermediate pad. When the name is carefully examined, it is read as “Camden”, the kapre’s name.
The Raped Maid
There was a house maid then in the house when General Aguinaldo is currently the President, she was raped by a visitor in the house. Nobody heard that she was crying for help because during that time there was a huge gathering in the house. We didn’t hear of further stories about the raped maid. One summer night we’re in our cousin’s house (closer to the shrine) celebrating our volleyball championship. We were aligned seating outside the house when a white image clearly but quickly passed our sight. Nobody figured out what that was until our youngest cousin got possessed.
She introduced herself as Eloisa (the raped maid) and began telling her stories. We were all scared then and crying but we managed to listen to what our cousin is saying. After an hour of possession the spirit has left our cousin’s body. The next morning we went to the shrine to take pictures and were able to capture ghost images (just as expected). We captured the image of a faceless woman exactly what I saw in the balcony. Although the image is faceless we can say that the woman is thankful and happy. The spirit never showed up again after that. Our camera broke and the images were erased.
