Triangle UFO Sightings
Sightings of large, triangular objects in the skies have been on the increase since the 1980s.
Triangle unidentified flying objects have become a major mystery among UFO researchers. Such objects are usually described as having several lights on the bottom and flying silently and low. Many think that these strange craft may be secret military vehicles. In the United Kingdom alone, there have been over 4,000 reports of triangles. There have been waves of these UFOs in Belgium, France, Holland and Germany, beginning with the most famous flap of all – the 1989-1990 triangle wave over Belgium.
On November 29, 1989, multiple witnesses including three groups of policemen, saw a triangular UFO over Belgium. Two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled and chased the object. Four months later, a giant triangle passed overhead as a Belgian National Police Captain watched. The sighting was confirmed by two radar stations. Once again, the military scrambled two F-16s but after an hour-long chase the object disappeared.
There have also been many sightings of triangle UFOs in the United States. In 1982-83, there were so many reports in the Hudson Valley of New York that the population started to believe they were under siege. Dr. J. Allen Hynek and other UFO researchers began an investigation into the sightings. The only “rational” explanation they could find was that the reports were of a blimp. However, the triangles could maneuver quickly, something a blimp cannot do.
A triangle UFO wave occured in the United Kingdom in March, 1993. Witnesses, including police officers, made over two hundred reports of objects with two bright lights and one third faint light. The objects seemed interested in military installations, having visited two.
Triangle UFOs continue to be reported. Recently, sightings have been made in Oklahoma, Oregon, Illinois, Arizona and England. Near Norman, Oklahoma, a man and his wife got lost while driving when they saw a triangle with orange and white lights. The couple lost 48 minutes of time that they could not account for, which suggests the possibility of alien abduction. While driving on an Oregon highway, another man and wife encountered a triangle UFO.
Giant triangular UFOs have been reported over Europe and America. The most celebrated triangle wave occured in 1989 and 1990. Another major flap happened in New York’s Hudson Valley. Sightings in the U.K. go on unabated. The Triangle UFO enigma remains unexplained.
