True Psychic Stories
If you have ever seen something and people think you’re nuts because you tried to explain it, read this one. IT REALLY HAPPENED.
This story is true and whether you believe it or not is up to you. First off, I am more of a scientific person, and quite a few times I have been accused of “over analyzing” things. I just can’t accept some things “just because.” I need explanation, reasons, facts and so forth.
It was 1989 on a Halloween night. I lived in Orlando, Florida with a friend of mine. I was 22 years old, and Al was 23, so we were not too long out of high school. We got on the subject of psychics and witchcraft somehow, and I told him I didn’t believe in that mubo jumbo stuff, but I was familiar with it because my mom used to have little parties where she would invite a psychic, and people would write a question and put it in an envelope for the psychic to answer. There’s a lot of opinions on this, and mine at the time was- that it was just for entertainment. Let’s face it. I could ask you a few vague questions like: ” Who do you know named Bill?” Or:”Does someone in your family have a health condition?”
I am bound to at least get something to go on. I could say that I see Bill’s future is…..Fill in the blank.
This being said, my opinion really changed that Halloween night, in a little town called Cassadaga, Florida. What I didn’t know then, was that Cassadaga is a “spiritualist camp”. Almost everyone living there has something to do with psychic ability, holistic healing, the power of crystals, ect. Let me tell you: THESE PEOPLE ARE THE REAL DEAL. I never thought I’d be saying this, but here’s what happened that night.
My room mate and I decided that Halloween would be a cool time to get a psychic reading because “the spirits would be out in full force.” So we went to the hotel in Cassadaga to choose a psychic. Even though it was around midnight, one was available.
As we were waiting in the lobby, I was trying to figure out what this large, square piece of furniture was. I thought it was a desk, but after looking closer, it was a very old; square shaped piano. I was thinking about going over to play it, when a five or six year old little girl walked in to the lobby and in a very firm voice said: ” That’s George’s piano, and he doesn’t want you to play it.” I didn’t answer her, but I thought to myself: ” How did she know I wanted to play it?” And: “Who’s George?” Both of these answers came shortly.
The psychic came out and introduced herself and the first thing out of her mouth was:” Stop trying to contact outside spirits.” ( We were playing with a ouiga board the night before). In short she was dead on with quite a few predictions, and some things that you would only know if you knew me. As for George, he was the deceased owner of the piano in the lobby, and quite the psychic in his day. The little girl was our psychic’s daughter.
After getting our readings, we walked around outside the hotel, down towards a cemetery. It was absolutely quiet. You could have heard a blade of grass fall. All of a sudden we heard a voice say: “Where are you going?” It sounded like an old woman, and it was like she was RIGHT BEHIND US! Although we were pretty scared to turn around, we did. There was NO ONE THERE. We did of course follow the order, and we went back to the car. That was probably one of the fastest sprints I have ever made!
We decided then, to take a ride through the camp, which was kind of like a typical mobile home park. It doesn’t take too long to drive through. We were driving very slow so that we could observe any other strange things.
One of the first thing on the drive was a pair of trees that were growing together in the shape of a little cave. We thought it would be cool to get out and see where it lead to, so we backed up. IT WAS GONE! Now keep in mind, I am a very rational person, and stone cold sober. This was like a movie.
We then decided to make another drive through the park. The first drive through, we noticed that all of the lights in and around all of the houses were off (it was about 2 am), and the curtains drawn. On the next drive through, all of the houses had the lights on, and curtains open. One thing: No cars in the driveway, and it appeared there was nobody home.
I haven’t told this story too often because I don’t want anyone to think I’m nuts. It’s also why I haven’t put it on my website:
But it happened. As far as the psychic stuff, I haven’t been back to Cassadaga since, but if you want “interesting” I recommend you visit.
By the way the Bible doesn’t condone contacting spirits, because you could really create some problems.

yeah, I’m glad you discovered that paranormal stuff is real. Most people think it is fake. It can get really annoying when they insult you for believing it’s true.
(changing subjects)
I went to your website and I like the “online writing” section. the articles are very informative.
Thanks for this article and keep up the good work

I am amazed at the immaturity of some of the comments here. For one, I never said anywhere in the article that you had to believe it. I am just telling you what I saw, and I have no explanation for it. SOME things just can’t be explained.
P.S. Thanks for the views.
I was there at Cassadaga

I have been to that hotel many times and nothing spooky ever happed.
I had a girlfriend stay the night at the hotel and she said they had children running back and forth upstairs to spook people.
Cassadaga has alot of want to be psyhcics some people believe if they read a few books on how to become psychic they are.
The classes are very exspensive to be in involved with long term cost.
They close their windows and turn out lights because they believe the road that runs down the hotel side is a spritual gateway and it’s active at night.
I have had alot of false readings and only one real accurate reading half of it anyway.
The lady has past on several years ago and I really think it’s just pure entertainment and nothing else.
There is nothing spooky about this place except they dress their kids up in black robes and have some type of church meeting with candles and lights out.
I found the pictures in a cassagaa book in the library.
I’t seemed to look like some type of cult to me , but what do I know.
I just thought it was creepy wearing black robes holding candles and kids were there.
I guess free religion is what it’s all about in this country.
I went to a energy meeting and then I have people who live there inviting me to a private sayonce and they make big money on that.
I told the lady I had not interest and I don’t play with ouiya boards either and I got dirty looks.
I felt very uncomfortable around these people like it really was a cult of some kind.
I also noticed that cetain psyhcics pay money to the camp and some dont and the ones that do not pay a fee to the camp are treated like outsiders in cassadaga.
My friend got sucked into the sayonce crap after her son past away and could not stop paying people to talk to her deceist son.
It was really sad she thought she could control him like she did in real life through these mediums by calling on his spirit all the time.
She is very unhappy and talks about ending her life and I believe some of the readings were nothing but b.s. and she fell for it.
I listen in and she was blabbing her mouth giving them all the info needed and they asked alot of questions.
I told her keep your mouth shut and see what they tell you and they only repeated or feed into what she was telling them.
This jackass wasted alot of money !
Dont wast your money

Don’t wast your money going out to cassadaga I had way to many false readings and way to much B.S..
I friends also got the big B.S readings nothing has come true for me for the last 3 psyhcics I paid for.

I totally belive this could be true. I am a 100% believer in psychics. If god excists why the heck can’t mediums and psychics? I agree that many things are unexplainable. If there is a god, who created him? How can space go on and on, but how can it end? Both of these questions are unexplainable. Not everything MUST have an answer. I have many dreams that come true and see certain “spirits”. I totally belive you because many of these things have been proven. However, there are peaple who try to make people think they are psychic and I do not agree with trying to get money out of it, especcially not if you are trying to get money from someone who has lost a loved one.
yeah..

yeah, this could be true. and i am really dissapointed in those of you who insulted this writer and calling them crazy! thats why so many people don’t say what happens to them because they are afraid of what people think! you could at least say that you don’t believe in it instead of saying that its not true!
TO THE WRITER: sorry for those mean people. but you should expect that of people these days

i belive every word of your story! those of you who would rether us this page as a chat room have no idea. i am a pscychic myself. And readings are not always 100% right. things change in peoples decesions. Your story makes perfect sense. first of all the trees, and lights are because you where not a beliver. we have our ways of showing people. I have many pscychic friends one thats very powerfull. she can heal, read cards, and can read you like a book. in all the time iv none her she has never been wrong on a singal reading. im not saying we dont get it wrong we do. but its not because of us. its YOU, you have to open up to us. Let us feel you every emotion. you cant lock it in an expect us to help you. I DO NOT agree with pscychics taking money from people. we are supost to help. AND NOOO you can not read a few books and poof your pscy you are born with this. you may not always have the ability. but after you get it you cannot get a refound. some pscy need help coming in to there own. you would need a well expirenced pscy to help. someone who has done it for 20+ not someone who takes your money. any questions??

Yeah, it’s not like they don’t have microphones in the common areas of the hotel and grounds, and loudspeakers disguised as plants every few feet which can be managed from a central control room, or anything. And surely they wouldn’t have electronic noisemakers and magnetized rocking chairs that can be made to rock back and forth silently.
Right?
