UFOs: An Unexplained Object

A UFO. First of all, what is it, and do aliens use them to fly around on Earth?

UFO. When people hear that word, they usually think of aliens from another galaxy, but it’s really just an Unidentified Flying Object. This term is usually used for the spectators watching a flying object, but even the United States Airforce can’t identify an aircraft in the sky sometimes! Scientists like to call UFO’s associated with the possibility of foreign life in them as UAP, Unidentified Ariel Phenomenon. Many people believe that they aren’t real, but studies today prove that only 25% of the sightings were actually not real. There are still arguments fighting over the fact of the existence of aliens.

Kenneth Arnold’s sighting was one of the most famous UAP sighting in history. The sighting took place in mid-June, 1947. When he was flying his private plane, he claimed to have seen nine bright objects near the face of Rainer. There were many people who claimed to have seen the same thing, but Arnold’s claim was the one that got all the media’s attention, thus causing his fame. He also claimed that the objects looked very much like a flat pan, and some of them had a crescent shape design. After Arnold’s claim, many other UAP sightings became surprisingly common, and most of them had the same description as Arnold’s. Soon, many papers’ front pages were filled with articles about UFO’s.

Another really famous UFO incident is the Roswell UFO Incident. In New Mexico, near a ranch, there was a crash that occurred, except, it wasn’t a normal crash. Many people believed that is was a UFO that had crashed, but the Eight Air Force claimed that is was a airship, not a UFO, which disappointed the media. Years later, Major Jesse Marcel was interviewed, and had admitted that he felt that the airship was a cover-up for the real accident, which sparked up the excitement in the media. While the US government stay strong on their claim that the crash was a simple weather balloon crash, but many have surprisingly also stayed just as strong on their idea that the crash was a UFO crash, and that the army collected bodies.

While some are still unexplained, hoaxes are also well known if they are good enough. In 1978-1979, Ed Walters claimed to have a UFO appear around his house, and even got pictures of the craft. A few years later, he claimed that the UFO appeared at his house again, but this time, there was a being standing at the back of his house, but there were no pictures of the being. Another few years later, the family moved, and new residents moved into the house.  The new family then discovered a model of a UFO in the attic of the house, and it was poorly hidden. The model looked very similar to the one Ed took and published to the media. Soon, it was pronounced to be a hoax.

I will not state my opinion on the matter, as this may cause arguments. I hope you enjoyed reading the article!
