UFOs Over Georgia

One of the current UFO hot spots is the state of Georgia.  In June, a silvery disk was spotted by a man traveling near Mt. Airy.  It had no wings so it was not an aircraft.  The flying saucer hovered over the highway for about thirty seconds so the man slowed down to watch the object.  It shot straight up into the sky after making a sharp turn.

On August 29, several people watched a silver/white light in the sky.  A red, a blue and a green light were spinning around it and every few seconds the three objects would go back into the silver/white light.  Then the entire process would repeat;  one witness had seen the objects since 2004. 

The next night,  a couple saw three strange beings in a forest campsite.  Needing to go to the restroom, the woman woke up at about 4:00 AM on Sunday morning.  On her way back to the tent,  she saw three gray humanoids in the woods behind the restroom.  She got a good look at one of them.  It had long arms, a thin body, pale skin, a large head and large black eyes.  Yelling for her husband, she ran back to the tent.  After calming his wife down, he investigated,  but found nothing at the restroom.  The woman, who did not give her name, either lied or actually saw the beings described.

There have been other reports of UFOs in Georgia this year.  In March, a witness saw a star like object over Chandler County.  In April, a man saw a yellow, fast moving object in the sky while driving home.  Later that month, three friends saw lights with multiple colors near a tattoo parlor. 

Assuming these UFOs are extraterrestrial, why the interest in Georgia?  There are many military installations in the Peachtree State.  Among these are Robins Air Force Base, Moody Air Force Base, and several Army, Navy and Marine Corps Bases.  Atlanta has the Centers for Disease Control.  Georgia also has nuclear power plants.
