I turned around to watch what I thought at the time was a flare burn out in the sky above the trees. I still think what I saw was a flare, but why was someone shooting off a flare over a lake in the woods at 10pm? And then this? I heard no explosions, but I did notice the windy conditions and the night sky was absolutely clear and the stars were bright. Something weird is happening, folks. I thought that it was far fetched, but this story was consistent with the type of side effects of the that you have documented.
