What is a crop circle?

Crop circles occur in crops such as wheat, barley or oats when some of the crop has been flattened down to create various pictures using geometric shapes.  The most common shape in a crop circle is the circle.  Other common shapes used are triangles, squares and stars.  A crop containing a crop circle looks as if someone or something has taken a giant stamp and left an impression in the crop.  Sometimes the pictures are breathtaking other times they are a mess.  Although most scientists would insist that crop circles are manmade, some researchers would argue that this could not possibly be the case.  The question still remains unanswered.

Are crop circles made by aliens?

Many researchers would insist that crop circles could not possibly be made by man which would mean that something or someone other than a human being created these formations!  This very well could be the case because many things found in or around crop circles could not have come from earth but from outer space.   Meteorite dust and magnetite are the most commonly found substances in crop circles.  Other things have lead to scientists believing these formations were made by aliens. For example, one circle they found looks like the face on mars after being computer manipulated to make the crop circle three dimensional.  

Another interesting example was when N.A.S.A. sent a binary code into space in 1978 and later they found a crop circle with an image of the code that N.A.S.A. transmitted into space.  However, the image in the crop circle was slightly different than the binary code transmitted by N.A.S.A.  N.A.S.A transmitted the basic elements found on Earth.  When the message was retuned there was one more element added called silicon which can also be found in crop circles.   The second difference found was that our DNA contains two strings where theirs contained three strings.  Another difference was that the image of the human body we transmitted was replaced in the crop circle image with an alien body with a large head, large eyes and a shorter body.  According to the crop circle the average height for these creatures was 1 meter where a human’s average height is 1.78 meters.  In 1978 when this message was sent into space the population of Earth was 4.29 billion.  When the message was returned, the population was altered to 21.3 billion.  The last difference was their position from their sun.  The message said that they lived on the 3rd, 4th and 5th planets from the sun.  This means that if they lived in our solar system they lived on our planet, Mars and the asteroid belt or Jupiter.  However, the image of  the 5th planet in the binary code message they left clearly showed that it was larger than any other planet which means that the sender of the message likely lived on Jupiter not the asteroid belt.  However if these images found in fields are man made none of this information means anything.
