Why Do Some People Find Hypnosis Sexy?

From a young age, I have always found hypnosis intriguing & somewhat sexy.

My first experience of hypnosis was when I was a teenager, watching the old Dracula movies, starring Christopher Lee.  I found that I was as every bit as mesmerised as one of his unwitting victims.  The concept of an older, mysterious and quite scary looking man, with glowing red eyes, being able to seduce attractive young virgins by simply using the power of his mind, I found very alluring. 

Whilst finding hypnosis sexy is a little bit unusual, it seems that I am not alone.  So why do some people find hypnosis sexy?  Well I suppose from a woman’s perspective, the thought of someone hypnotising you, and being completely under someone’s control can be quite erotic.  After all, if someone uses hypnosis to seduce you, and you then engage in activities that you normally wouldn’t try, you always have the excuse that he (or she) made you do it, and as it was totally beyond your control.  From a man’s perspective, I’m sure he would find it very erotic to be able to hypnotically seduce a woman (or man).  There is also the element of having total power and dominance over a person, which can also be very sexy.

Many people do not realise that the brain is the largest erogenous zone in the human body.  The brain can open the door to sexual imagination and erotic fantasies; hypnosis is simply a key to unlocking the door.  There are a large number of hypnotherapist’s who  are now starting to branch out into the hypno-erotic market.
