Why Magic Works

Magic is a simple thing, not a complex vortex that people make it think to be. Behind every magic trick is a reasonable explanation. Magic play with peoples mind in ways they do not realize. People in this category force themselves to see the magic. The mind, as the cliché goes, is a powerful thing with many great powers. One of the is the power of illusion. Magic relies almost entirely on this rule. If you have ever seen a coin disappear it is for this reason. People who like magic like to believe in the supernatural that there are grand things that can be done with the mind alone.

Magic also relies on the magician, how well he sells the trick. It is almost a fact that any magician would provide a good sales man or a good thief. There are people of course there are more sensuous people with more reason that do not fall for these tricks. These people are the ones that are not shown by David Blaine or Criss Angel.

Then there is the final type, which is a magician. This person actually tries to freak the audience rather than amaze them. A perfect example of this would be Criss Angel and his tricks in which he walks up to people with the weirdest look saying almost I am not mentally stable but let me show you something amazing. This is almost always fun for both sides. The magician can relax with his hands since most of the audience will be focusing on him rather than his fingers, and the audience gets a nice kick out of it.

Magic IS around us but not in the way you would expect. When you see a police car with a radar gun hidden then that is magic, when you see a “psychic” telling you about your future that is magic. When you see the animal psychic talking to animals that is equally magical as finding that lost breath mint. Magic is in the mind whether you accept paranormal things or not that makes all the difference
