Scary movies, ghost hunting series on TV, scary stories. These are all things that are now constantly seen wherever you go. People like to get scared; to get the chills running up their spine; for the hair on the back of their necks to raise.

But, how safe is it to involve yourself in these things?

There are many who would not encourage it. Mainly, those who have a serious job dealing with such things every day. Priests, demonologists…you’ll find they all encourage one to stay away from that sort of work.

People often wonder but don’t know for sure – or just deny the truth of it - that one may take something home with them when leaving the presence of such a darkness. Even something as “insignificant” as a scary movie.

When a person  receives the images from a scary movie, a part of it remains within the mind. For just about every person, this image can have a subtle effect on them. Subtle at first, but every event must begin somewhere, however small it may be.

You’ll notice that after watching a scary movie, the shadows in your home seem to stir. Often, that is when a person may “see” something or a paranormal event may take place. Those who do experience such events do not lie though it may not be quite what it seems.

Listed below are a few facts that the common man is unaware of:

There is no such thing as ghosts. Ask any demonologist, and they will agree; any priest, they will agree. There are no ghosts, but there are dark spirits. Demons. Demons follow families through generations and therefore can imitate a long deceased person with little flaws. They know a family’s secrets and things spoken of or known only within the family. That is the only place a psychic receives his or her information.

Working with spirits makes you and your family vulnerable to possession. Demons have no sympathy; not for women, not for children. Your child is at just as much risk as you are.

Ouija Boards are real and they are dangerous. They are an invitation to demons/dark spirits to enter your home and do as they please.

Man cannot rid their home of dark spirits with potions and concoctions nor with herbs or salt. The power of Jesus Christ is the only way to make your home and your family safe again.

Demons cannot read your mind but they know more about us than we can dream, so they can make accurate guesses at what would draw us into the dark.

Working with spirits sounds like fun when you don’t have all the facts; when you don’t know the dangers. People who have dabbled or placed themselves in the situation to be influenced by spirits have had dangerous incidences; many others, grave even to the point of death. There are people out there in this world who, from childhood, are called to deal with such things. There are people who have a special protection placed over them and a faith of incomprehensible measure. The spirit world needs to be dealt with only by those called, able and gifted; otherwise, we are simply opening the doors of our world, our families and our lives to demonic influences that can lead us only to darkness and suffering.
