10 Celebrities to Wear Flats for: Featuring Taylor Lautner, Johnny Depp, Kevin Bacon, Jon Bon Jovi and More
A list of 10 good-looking men who are not tall. This is a different type of follow-up to my to Tall Girls Dating and Tall Actors articles.
Well, I wrote about the troubles of being a tall girl dating and followed up with two articles featuring tall celebrities. Well, a third one is in the works at the request on my friend. While I am working on that, I wanted to you to present a different list. These men are not tall. Well, not to me anyway, with me being 5’9” and all. But it is not to say that they are any less desirable. A girl doesn’t always have to waer heels. In fact, wearing heels is mostly uncomfortable. It would be lovely if the guy wanted you not to be taller than him. Oh ,well. Here are the men that can let women their height expectations go…
1. Johnny Depp 5′ 10″ (1.78 m)

I refused to believe that there is an heterosexual woman on earth who hasn’t been seduced by at least one of Johnny Depp’s roles. Sure, there might be exceptions but I just haven’t met them.
Now, I am not the biggest Depp fan around. While I can list 10 or so Depp movies I adored, I can also list at least 10 that bored me to death. And I am not going to claim he is always gorgeous To the contrary, this guy doesn’t like pretty and he seems to love to make himself look unattractive. Oh, yes, it is possible. Put extra white make-up on him (Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands), or a plain, old-fashioned moustache and glasses (The Ninth Gate).
But when he isn’t trying so hard to look ordinary, he is gorgeous. Just watch Chocolat, Benny and Joon, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. There are more but these are my favorites. And yes, I’d wear flats. For good. Jealous of Venessa Paradis? Absolutely?
2. Robert Downey Jr. 5′ 8½” (1.74 m)

I love to read your articles. A piece like that was proper for me because I believe that sensuality is best expressed in a not exaggerated height. Tall men are undoubtedly showy but the harmony of movement more often resides in contained height. I say this even though it goes against my interests. Well done.

wow, nicely done..again, very interesting post.
If they are Asian, we will say they are quite tall, for 1.79m.
They cannot grow taller vertically already, but can grow “taller” horizontally anytime, haha.

@ Thanks, Sophie. And for me, it doesn’t get any more sensual when Andy Garcia gets romantic or if Jon Bon Jovi does…well… anything;) This article has a sequel in the works, so please let me know if I missed anyone you like.
@ Starpisces: Ha ha. Well, being on Asia, Turkish men are also considered tall enough at 1.79. But I am 1.75 so…;) And yep, they grow horizantally….unfortunately;)

Well…Jonathan Rhys Meyers of course has to be included (the most…all…of all)!!! And then Ryan Phillippe (I simply adore his slightly cross-eyed look and his adorable sulky mouth), Mark Wahlberg (the most beautiful proportions), Matt Damon (the brighter smile of all) and our beloved Simon Baker..

@Mace: Thanks:)
@Sophie: They are coming. Thanks for reminding me about Damon. I am not a big Mark fan but I’ll add him for you;). Simon will be there of course.
But I refuse to wear flats for a cheater! He cheated on Reese, lol:)))
