A Tribute to Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson the king of pop music, a musical legend who was overcast ted by his strange life styles and sex scandals died after suffering a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday 25Th June, 2009. He was declared dead after reaching the hospital at UCLA medical center in Los Angeles. He was born on 29Th August, 1958 and the world was gifted with a musical talent who changed the history of pop music. His first hit album “I want you back “ was released in 1970 , when he was 11 years old which rose to No 1 on the Billboard Charts .Thereafter in 1971 , he began his solo career but gained huge popularity after the release of his  highest selling album “Thriller”. The second single “Billie Jean “from the album Thriller in which he mimicked his famous moon walk took him to the charts.

His Last album was Invincible in 2001 and his last series of concerts was in 1996-1997 .As per reports he was preparing for his greatest comebacks show that going to be scheduled at the London O2 arena in month of July. Jackson has won 13 Grammy Awards and sold more than 750 million records also making him the highest selling male artist in books of world records. He has a fan following throughout the globe with his talent being appreciated by people world wide. In his following years the pop icon became sensational as plastic surgery had altered his physical appearance and he faced allegations of child abuse in 1993-2005.

But no matter what He continues to remain a musical legend. We all would miss a phenomenal musical genius who captured millions of people through his voice. He now continues to remain all those memorable moments that he has shared through his music. A Salute to this pop icon Michael Jackson.
