Later in her career Bhavana prolifically acted in many Malayalam (Mollywood) films with series of hits that no other actress has seen. There were a series of flops in 2004 but not later. She made a debut film in Tamil film Industry (Kollywood) Chithiram Pesuthadi which was also a good hit and brought her two best actress awards. Bhavana has acted in many Malayalam and Tamil films.

Recently Bhavana made her entry into the Telugu film industry (Tollywood) in 2007 film Ontari. Recently she acted along side popular Telugu actor Srikanth in film Mahatma. She acted with many popular Malayalam actors who are mostly double of her age. She didn’t have a roller coaster ride like the popular actresses have. Rather she has a smooth career where most of her films are hits in series. It only goes to show that her acting is well appreciated and her beauty is captivating to the audience.
