More than this it is her acting talent that made her stand apart from others in Telugu and Tamil film industries. Bhoomika has bagged the best actress award for the film Kushi which was just a second film of her.

The beautiful south Indian actress Bhumika Chawla has started her acting career in Bombay in Ponds Talcum Powder advertisements. Then she got noticed by Telugu film industry directors and got the first film offer for Yuvakudu. Since then she set a special standard for an actress in the south film industry.

Though the first film was not a big hit, the second one was. Kushi was just a classic. Opposite Pawan Kalyan she played her role the best possible by an actress. The music for that movie was also a hit. This movie had suddenly raised her stardom and brought many good opportunities later on.

But Bhumika does not act in whatever movie that comes around as an offer. Whatever she chooses to work on, she proved to do her best in a role. Many different movies after Kushi portrayed her excellent performances in different characters. Telugu films like Okkadu, Sathyabhama, Anasuya, and Tamil films like Badri, Jillendru Oru Kadhal, that starred Bhumika Chawla are very good movies to watch her performance.

She has also acted in Hindi, Malayalam and Punjabi films. Though the count if Hindi films is less, her Hindi film Tere Nam was a good movie.

Bhumika married her boyfriend whom she through yoga classes who teaches her yoga in 2007. After that she took only a little break and started acting again. We have got to see her new films Swagatham, Mallepuvu, Kalavadiya Pozhdugal, Naa Style Veru etc.
