Poonam Kaur is a very beautiful south Indian actress who has acted mostly in Telugu films. She is very cute like Bhavana (in Malayalam film industry). Her career has started only three years ago and she also known by another name, Deepa.

Deepa or Poonam Kaur is a south Indian actress who acted in many Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. She was born in Hyderabad and as such a native Telugu girl to become an actress in Tollywood (Telugu film industry). There are very few cute actresses in Tollywood or even in South Indian film industry who are from the same region.

Poonam Kaur’s career began as a modeling and fashion designing, like many actresses do. She studied fashion designing in National Institute of Fashion at Delhi. She completed her studies in 2006 and got offer to work with Telugu film director Teja. But it didn’t work out. She again signed another offer with the same director for the movie Oka Vichitram. Her acting career did not get noticed much till the film Souryam in which popular actors Gopichand and Anushka have starred, was released.

Poonam Kaur or Deepa’s film Souryam got her nominated as best supporting actress award for the year 2008. She is not a prolific actress. But she acts in two or three movies per year. That is why she is not much noticed.

Poonam Kaur has also acted in Tamil film industry (Kollywood) and Kannada film industry (Sandalwood). She debuted in Tamil with Nenjirukkum Vaarai and Kannada with Bandhu Balaga. There is still a lot of way to go for this very young and cute actress but unpopular in the south Indian film industry.

Poonam Kaur is a very beautiful south Indian actress much like Bhavana who is the cutest of all south Indian actresses. But she cannot beat Bhavana. One thing to note is that these two beautiful actresses are south Indian film actors and also they are from different states (Andhra Pradesh & Kerala).
