by This is bits and pieces of news that came to my attention today. The pollen count is terrible. Chris Brown seems to be up to his old bad behavior. Christelyn Darazin has a message for single black mothers. And the germiest places might surprise you.

Pollen:
It’s that time of year again, and two weeks early. Yellow pollen has taken over the state of Georgia. Yesterday’s pollen count soared to 2,258 particles of pollen per cubic feet of air. The primary culprits are mulberry, oaks, ash, and birch. Allergists tell us to stay indoors, keep windows closed and to wear a face mask when mowing the lawn. If we must be out they tell us to wash our clothes and hair when coming inside.
Chris Brown:
The story is that Chris Brown got so mad on Good Morning America that he broke a window with a chair when Robin Roberts asked him about his abuse of his former girlfriend Rhianna. Rhianna had Brown arrested for hitting her and throwing her out of the car in 2009. Chris Brown was on the show to promote his latest album “F.A.M.E.

Black mom says moms need partners.
Christelyn Darazin was once a single mom herself. She is aware some single moms do an outstanding job, but she is also aware that some don’t. 72 percent of African American children are born out of wedlock. Darazin is trying to get young black women to know they are worthy of having a committed partner when raising a child. She will speak at Emory University on Thursday. Tulan, I heard about Chris Brown showing himself, and oh, boy, the pollen is in full force. I just dusted and cleaned my deck and now it’s yellow dust everywhere again.
