Bollywood Hot Actress – Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is one of the hot and top bollywood actresses in India. She was a top-line model in India before entering the Hindi film industry. She is tagged as an outstanding dancer adding that extra bit of spice to the film screens.

Madhuri Shankar Dixit was born on 15 May 1967 into a Marathi Brahmin family in Mumbai, India. Her parents are Shankar and Snehalata Dixit. Madhuri dixit is the youngest of four children. Madhuri studied at the Parle College and considered a future in micro-biology. She also trained in Kathak for over eight years.

Madhuri Dixit made her acting debut in ‘Abodh’ in 1984. After that she performed in ‘Tezaab’ movie in 1988 and nominated as Film fare Best Actress Award. Madhuri’s next performance role in ‘Pratigyaa’ and ‘Dil’ also nominated as Film fare Best Award Actress in 1989.

In 1991, Madhuri performed her next roles in ‘Saajan’ and ‘Beta’ nominated as Filmfare Best Actress Award. In 1994, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun…!’ won not only Film fare Best Actress Award but also that movie was one of the biggest grossers ever in the history of Hindi cinema. After an unsuccessful year in 1996, Dixit appeared as Pooja in Yash Chopra’s ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ (1997). The film was a major national success, both critically and commercially, and Dixit won her fourth Filmfare Best Actress Award.

Dixit is not only known for her acting skills, but for her dancing skills as well. Her dance sequences, accompanying famous Bollywood songs such as Ek Do Teen (from Tezaab), Didi Tera Devar Deewana (from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun!), Choli Ke Peechhe (from Khalnayak), Akhiyan Milaun (from Raja), Mera Piya Ghar Aaya (from Yaarana), Kay Sera Sera (from Pukar), Maar Daala (from Devdas).
