Brad Pitt and Algelina Jolie Split… Fine with Me

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a cute little nickname for the couple they comprise… ‘Brangelina’. No kidding. Or, that is… they did. And people actually seem to care. Two multi millionaires, both generally classified as the best breed of an entire damn species, are splitting up. Why do we give a sh*t? I’ve never understood. I like Brad Pitt in a few movies; Fight Club was pretty sweet, Inglorious Bastards… hell, it’s a Tarentino movie. But beyond that, you can have him. And Angelina Jolie, too. Has there ever been a more over hyped, over glamorized woman? She looks like a damn fish, and can’t act.
But our celebrity worship is strong. We care because magazines tell us we do. Because the internet says we do. No need to bother ourselves with less substantial stories; stupid little wars and Haitian earthquakes and such. Who even knows where Haiti is? Ask 10 people on the street tomorrow if they heard about Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie getting separated. 9 will know. And those same 10 people how many American soldiers died yesterday. Good luck with that one. Can’t be bothered by American soldiers with Brangelina up there.
It would be ever so nice if we all grew the hell up. What are we all…. 12? Brad Pitt and Angelina Break up? Hell, I’m OK with it. Won’t lose a wink, If you do… grow the hell up.

she’s the one who one an oscar and a golden globe for her acting skills not him. Actually i think he’s the one who can’t act.
you’re entitled to your opinion but maybe you haven’t watched her in girl interrupted, changelling or a mighty heart. those are the movies where she shows her acting skills. Not even meryl streep would be able to show her amazing acting skills in a movie like tomb raider or wanted, would she?

she is exceptionally beautiful …her looks have faded a bit after her mother’s death but she’s still beautiful.

At least he’s making money from the over-hyped, over-paid actor/actress. It’s the star hungry consumers that read and buy into it… Might as well get something from the insane craze. Angie also has the hips of an old woman- don’t forget that…. I think she can act, but I agree that stars are way overrated (not just Brad and Angie.)

Another great, amusing article. I have to agree, there is waaay to much hype concerning celebrities (not just Brad and Ange). It would be great if we could put as much time and effort into things that really mattered to the worldwide community but I think we are always going to be little children at heart.

Celebrity worship is such an insane religion, but it seems to be running rampant all over the world. Why do we care? I don’t understand why movie stars are capable of raising money for charity, but I am glad that they do.
