Break It to Lindsay
After all that’s been said and done let’s try our very best, without raising any form of protest, to look at this talented girl in a different light.
I was about to continue an article I started out on Lindsay Lohan. I was just in the process of writing down all thoughts on her and have it edited later. I was just about done in my first paragraph when I noticed that the article piece wasn’t starting out well which was very much against my plan to give her a positive viewpoint.
So, I’d just try to focus on the thought that she is just any other talented girl who had too much too soon. Still, the article wouldn’t sound genuine if I don’t mention the fact that she had had everything on her feet during the times when she probably have no idea that a word such as discipline exists.
Her looks, experience and her ability to draw media attention, are truly any investor’s dream. But along the way her lack of discipline is bound to come up and deter anyone, with half their brain functioning, from doing anything with her. This had-been fact would come up again and again to the point when she’s already old, already gray, and already bedridden. In an unstable economy prevalent the world over, any investor in any Lohan endeavor would have to have a lot of money reserved for the possible failure of any venture. The fact that Lindsay Lohan was given a lot of chances even after her DUI arrests and unprofessionalism many, in her predicament would just dream of, would always haunt the very people who provide livelihood for people like La Lohan.
Lately it’s been rumored that she would model. They say she’s wanted as a model. I’d say with her looks and experience as a child fashion model she’s worth it. Of course, you have to remember and take note of the fact that she is 5″ short of the modelling standard’s height. At least the required height for the runway, that is. Her weight of 105 lbs. on her 5′5″ frame qualifies her BMI to the modelling world. But I guess, she’s only wanted for print modelling anyway.
But let’s face it. Let’s be realistic. How many of us had fallen way below people’s expectations when we were growing up and just starting to have our very own wings to try and explore the world? Fate has allowed these fallen souls to wisen up, make up and live a new life. But how many are like Lindsay whose very normality, prevented by the world she lives in, cannot afford a second chance?
The fact is Lindsay Lohan had been out of the media circus and criticism for quite sometime already almost as soon as her relationship with her lesbian friend Samantha Ronson started. Yes, maybe Samantha Ronson had been a good influence to her. The only thing that you’d read engative about them is involving their finances as any other “couple”. Their little squabbles can only be a fabrication of any minute normal thing not worth the hullabaloo it is being accorded with but worth it for the people whose bread and butter is to dish out any exaggerated version of anything in a celebrity’s life.
Lindsay Lohan is just like you and me. She needs work. She’s got talent. She’s got looks. She has the world’s attention. She can draw interest. She’s but normal. She lives in a world that exaggerates everything negative about any person. And most of all she needs a break. The girl was a little stupid. Maybe was quite out of this world stupid. She may not have tried it but she’s wisen up before our very, unbelieving eyes way beyond what we think she can. This is a feat done by the very same girl we fell in love with. We never lost her. She just went a little bit out of the way to grow up.
Give her a break.
