Cat Deeley Celebrity Horoscope

by Jacqui Deevoy in People, November 20, 2008

She’s a Leo, is called Cat, but is she a pussycat? Read this in-depth horoscope report on the loveliness that is Miss Deeley.

Celebscope: Cat Deeley/Week starting August 5 2002

LEO

Cat Deeley

Born: 28th July 1977

Leos can be right rowdy and unruly, but TV presenter Cat Deeley just doesn’t come across like that. This could be due to the fact that on the day she was born, the Moon was in Capricorn, which kind of counteracts a lot of the dodgier Leonine qualities.

Take, for example, the issue of vanity. Most Leos see themselves as the mane (hawhawhaw!) attraction and spend most of their nine lives gazing at their reflections in any shiny surface mirrors, preening themselves. Although many of people believe her to be the cat’s whiskers, this girl just isn’t like that. In fact, because of her Capricorn Moon, Miss Deeley’s one of the few Leos who are more than happy to have a laugh at herself. Not only was she willing to sport fake goofy teeth, NHS specs, a mad wig and less-than-flattering garb (although certain fans probably liked her in that scruffy school uniform) for one of her many “acting” roles on sm:tv but she also appears to present “the definitive list of wonky-mouthed women” on a weird website (Idiotica.co.uk), on which she places herself in the top slot!

As a Leo, she’s a natural leader and has no trouble taking control. Most Leos like getting the lion’s share of attention too, but her personal birth-chart means that she’s fine about allowing others to take centre-stage, as she did with co-presenters Ant and Dec back in her “getting up early on Saturday” days.

Like all Leos, Cat’s tough and clever and wants to succeed on the strength of her talent as opposed to her looks. (In fact, when she was asked by a modelling agency to give up school and take up a career as a model, Cat turned them down and returned to school to get her nine GCSEs and 4 “A”-levels).

Other cosmic occurrences on her birth day make her witty, articulate and always up for a chat. Mind you, she likes to be spoken to properly and detests, as most Leos do, being talked down to. “Sometimes I have to deal with older people in the business who don’t speak to you like they should,” she once said in an interview.

Leo’s are famous for their confidence. Even little kitties like Cat know what they’re capable of and will not have anyone tell them otherwise. “I know I’ve got a lot to learn,” she says “but I don’t need to be treated like I’m the bit of skirt. It’s frustrating when you can’t change their opinion in ten minutes.”

Other planetary placings mean, in love, she’s more attracted to a man’s mind than his body and won’t settle for a bloke who’s intellectually inferior to her. No swotty goody-goodies for her though: this little lioness prefers to get her claws into bad boys. As she once said of men: “I guess I like them a bit rough around the edges – like you need to take them home and give them a good scrub.”

Cat Deeley – hear her purr!
