It seems like drugs and alcohol addiction is so yesterday. Nowadays, more and more celebrities have “leaked” sex tapes online. From Hollywood stars to Miss Universe contestants, sex tapes are flooding the Internet. Personally, I’m beginning to believe that sex tapes simply are turning celebrities into the next porn stars.

With established careers, I believe it is rather easy for famous celebrity to “apologize” for “leaked” sex tapes. However, one have to wonder why in the world someone would record themselves having sex in the first place. We live in the age of technology. Information is easy to put up, it travels fast, and it is really hard to erase once it is online. I know many people do enjoy recording themselves in sexual acts, but when a person is famous, they must know that a “leaked” sex tape is bound to happen.

Unless, the celebrity themselves “leak” the sex tape in order to gain attention. Failing careers, the need to be in the news, upcoming films, or maybe they are promoting something, these all can be reasons to “leak” a sex tape and go in front of the camera to say how sorry they are.

We all know they aren’t truly sorry because the second someone like TMZ.com reports another celebrity sex tape surfaced online, many people will be searching for the sex tape and more information on the celebrity. I believe “leaked” sex tapes are simply another way to advertise a Hollywood celebrity. After all, I truly doubt anyone online would be interested in a sex tape made by some unknown person. Who knows, maybe making your own sex tapes and making them go viral will give you an extra 5 minutes of fame.

In the end, Hollywood is jut one big orgy with celebrities marrying one person but sleeping with so many others. We all know Hollywood will never change for the better, let’s hope it doesn’t get worse.
