Daughtry: The Next Elvis Presley?

Daughtry. A hard rock band. With the band leader, Chris Daughtry, therefore terming ‘Daughtry’ (ohhhh). Daughtry is an ordinary rock band with extraordinary talent. Many believe that. So do I. But is Daughtry going to keep topping charts throughout the next decade, maybe even more?
After the hit songs Home, Over You and Crashed from their debut album Daughtry (originality unleashed), they have been having a lot of tours, a lot of popularity, to the people of the world and among the celebrities themselves. After their second album, Leave This Town, which released around August 2009 have made Daughtry ever so famous. Before their first album, hardly anybody knew them, Chris was just participating in American Idol. In today’s world, not even a year ago, the current late 2009, Daughtry have been talked about on many shows, radio channels, television programs etc.
I’m sure everybody loves Daughtry now. After all, he has produced wonderful songs like Over You, Home, Crashed, September and now the hit No Surprise. Why shouldn’t anybody like them. Daughtry together as a band definetely have the potential to be the next Elvis Presley or ACDC or Led Zeppelin in my opinion.
I’m a die hard rock fan. I love every single type of rock, be it classical 80’s rock, soft rock, hard rock, alternative rock. My favorite band is Linkin Park. But I definetely love other rock bands like GreenDay, Maroon 5, ACDC, R.E.M, Breaking Benjamin and of course Daughtry.
Let’s conclude by saying Daughtry is awesome. Simply awesome and amazing in his field of entertainment. But the question asked at the beginning, is he next Elvis Presley? My only answer is simply that only time can tell.
